Resume Xiaowen Xue,PhD, associate professor of Medicinal Chemistry , China Pharmaceutical University. Xiaowen Xue graduated from Nanjing College of Pharmacy with a BS in 1986 and worked as a teacher in the same college until he moved to USA to pursue his PhD in 2000. Xiaowen Xue obtained his PhD majoring at organic chemistry from Miami University in 2005, under the guidance of Prof Ben Gung. He then did his postdoctoral research at Miami for one year and returned to China Pharmaceutical University in 2006, where he holds the associate professorship. He is the member of American Chemical Society. During his American career, Xiaowen Xue coauthored seven peer-reviewed publications at top chemistry journals such as the Journal of American Chemical Society and the Journal of Organic Chemistry.
Research Interests The research on anticancer drugs; studies on weak noncovalent interactions; and the origins of some asymmetrical reactions.
