Thejournal is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to the study of all aspectsof health and health care in which place or location matters.
Recentyears have seen closer links evolving between medical geography, medicalsociology, health policy, public health and epidemiology. The journal reflectsthese convergences, which emphasise differences in health and health carebetween places, the experience of health and care in specific places, thedevelopment of health care for places, and the methodologies and theoriesunderpinning the study of these issues.
Thejournal brings together international contributors from geography, sociology,social policy and public health.
